Competitive Awards

Anagi Leadership Award
  • For training, college, and graduates
  • Covers tuition, fees, books, room and board up to $24,000 Per Year based on need, 4 years maximum
  • Deadline is June 30th
Ivalu Leadership Award
  • For training, college, and graduates
  • Covers tuition, fees, books, room and board up to $15,000 Per Year based on need, 4 years maximum
  • Deadline is June 30th
At-Large High School Scholarship Award
  • For graduating High School Seniors continuing education
  • Carrying a minimum 2.0 GPA at the time of application

Short Term

Short Term Training
  • Yearly limit is $4500
  • Short Term Training is defined as training of four (4) months or less that is needed to obtain a certificate or license required to take on a job or to support development within a current position.
  • AEF does not allow simultaneous funding between AEF scholarships for post-secondary education and short-term training within the same calendar year.
North Slope Graduating Seniors
  • There are three leadership awards per village on the Arctic Slope. Only teachers, principals, and counselors will be able to nominate for these awards. For a list of your available awards in your village we have produced a separate brochure. If you have any questions, please call our office and ask for the Manager.
